JohnSimsProjects is an interdisciplinary multimedia studio platform directed by artist, writer and producer John Sims, who creates dynamic projects informed by the language of mathematics, art, text, film and performance, spirited by a range of factors from conceptual design to social justice activism. The artist’s main projects explore the connecting of mathematics and art, the nature of white supremacy and visual terrorism, politics and the culture of love, and the complex notion of time. We would like to invite you into this world where concrete mathematics, conceptual art and visual poetry—as able agents of the mind, hand and heartare connected in both conscious and magical ways to inspire transformative engagement within ourselves and the world around us.
